It’s been an age since I posted on this blog. I’ve been building a new one – to be revealed soon – so that’s been keeping me more than busy. I’ve also been super busy with general work stuff so my poor blog has had to take a back seat.
I’ve just got back from a fabulous trip to the Lake District and Scotland. It was only a week but here’s a few snaps.
We stayed with some London friends who are lucky enough to have a holiday home in Askham. This is us outside the cafe at the historically lovely Askham Hall. The wood fired oven behind us churns out crusty Pizzas.
…and inside. A grade II listed barn with fabulous cake.
Jasper on the Raven Glass Steam Train
Waswater in the Western Lakes. The best view in Britain apparently (as voted by an ITV audience) Not the best in this dreary shot.
I love an Alpaca. This one was at Mabie Farm Park in Dumfries, Scotland. One of the best farms I’ve visited with the children. We were there all day and still didn’t see it all.
A beach made of shells in the stunning town of Kippford, Scotland
I can’t believe I’ve been in the UK for 15 years and I’ve only just been to the Lake District and Dumfries and Galloway. I can highly recommend both for a stress free holiday with the family.
