Now this is cool. British artist Alex Chinneck has unveiled his new work—a life-size two-storey house made from wax.
Called ‘A pound of flesh for 50p’, It has been built using 8000 was bricks and is designed to melt using special heat devices. It is designed to celebrate an old candle making factory that is located in the same area.
The house is located on Southwark Street in London and will be on display till 18 November 2014. It is also part of Merge Festival 2014 – Merge is an annual festival to encourage and promote a set of performances, events and happenings which draw on the rich heritage and contemporary culture of Bankside.
Go see it before it’s just a puddle .
Alex also created the upside down house and the sliding house. Clever!
