Long weekend in Wiltshire

Last weekend we swapped our home in East London, through Intervac, with a lovely family from Wilton, Wiltshire. I’d never heard of Wilton before but it’s a lovely town right by Salisbury and close enough to the coast for a day trip. We were only there for 3 nights but we packed so much in, it felt like longer.

On our first day we visited the grounds of  Wilton House  which has been in the same family for 460 years.

We’re thinking Wilton House might be a good option for a house swap next year

On Sunday we went on a day trip to Lulworth Cove, Dorset. A stunning cove on the Jurassic coast

We had such lovely weather – it didn’t feel like the UK at all

I love London but it’s so nice to escape it every now and then. Now to plan the next trip!
